Project Summary
This project involved the delivery of a large-scale, architecturally designed roofing and cladding package for Yarrabah School in Aspendale, constructed for Ireland Brown. Designed as a special education school, the buildings required a high level of detail, safety compliance, and durability while maintaining a modern, considered appearance.
Our team completed roofing, wall cladding, soffit linings, insulation, gutters, downpipes, and polycarbonate installations across multiple buildings within the campus. The scope included the Staff Wing, Specialist Learning Building, Senior Life House, Manual Activity Building, and Intermediate & Transition buildings.
Stramit Monoclad roofing and wall systems were used throughout, paired with high-performance insulation and carefully detailed flashings to meet both architectural intent and long-term performance requirements. Given the scale and complexity of the site, strict OHS management, fall protection systems, and access equipment were implemented to ensure safe delivery of works at every stage.
The end result is a cohesive, modern school environment that balances clean architectural lines with robust, low-maintenance roofing solutions designed to perform for years to come.
