Re-roof From Hail Event Slate, Tiles and Metal Roofs

Project Summary – Glen Iris

This project in Glen Iris involved a comprehensive roof replacement across multiple residential units following a significant hail event. Due to the range of roof styles and materials across the site, the project required a coordinated approach and careful planning to ensure consistency, compliance, and minimal disruption to residents.

All hail-damaged roof coverings were safely removed and disposed of, with bins and trucks supplied to keep the site clear and organised throughout the works. New roofing materials were then installed, including imported terracotta tiles approved by the owners, imported Spanish slate, metal roofing, and twin wall roofing systems. Each material was selected to suit the specific roof areas while maintaining a cohesive overall finish across the complex.

To ensure long-term durability and performance, all roofing systems were installed using copper fixings, along with new ridge capping and flashings where required to meet current compliance standards. The project was fully supervised from start to finish, with a strong focus on workmanship, safety, and quality control.

Throughout the works, extra care was taken to keep the site clean, tidy, and safe for residents, with clear access maintained wherever possible. All works were completed in line with Australian Standards, delivering a high-quality, weather-resistant roofing solution designed to stand up to future conditions.
